I have a friend who sometimes "attends" church services via streaming video on her church's website. I tease her that showing up in a real church building with a real, in-the-flesh congregation is "the only real Path." But, religion's got a long history of using technology to spread its various messages. I guess we could start with the Gutenberg press ... later radio, then television ... and now the Vatican has its own YouTube channel in four languages.
I guess you don't have to show up after all. I wonder if Father Guido Sarducci will have a guest spot.
